ONE DOWN 100 MORE TO GO

"And the rib, which the Lord God had taken from man, made he a woman, and brought her unto the man. And Adam said, This is now bone of my bones, and flesh of my flesh: she shall be called Woman, because she was taken out of Man. Therefore shall a man leave his father and his mother, and shall cleave unto his wife: and they shall be one flesh." Genesis 2:22-24

As Carlos and I celebrate our 1 year anniversary, my heart is rejoicing in gladness, I never imagined marriage to be this sweet and incredibly wonderful. In my singleness I always dreamed of being married and pictured it to be some what like a fairytale. After celebrating one year of marriage, I have realized marriage is greater than a fairytale, greater than a wedding it's a gift from God. I wish I could express how truly wonderful marriage is and how beautiful it is to please the Lord together as husband and wife.
All I can say is being able to experience such a divine gift makes me so excited about Heaven.
Ladies, marriage is worth the wait, it truly is!

We had so much fun during our one year anniversary shoot! I put on my veil, wedding shoes & accessories and my hubby wore his bow tie & wedding shoes. It was especial magical being surrounded by all the amazing rental pieces we used on our special day! I want to thank my sweet friend & vendor Vivian Khanh for allowing us to shoot at her shop & letting us use her gorgeous pieces.
I also want to thank my sweet friend Vanessa Gonzales who did such an amazing job capturing
all the love and excitement my husband and I are feeling celebrating the big ONE year!!!

"But from the beginning of the creation, God made them male and female. For this reason a man shall leave his father and mother and be joined to his wife, and the two shall become one flesh, so then they are no longer two but one flesh.
Therefore what God has joined together, let not man separate."  Mark 10-:6-9

DIY WALL DECOR

Its Friday ladies! Incase you have some free time this weekend and would like to add a lil somethin' somethin' to that plain white wall in your home, here's a cute and inexpensive DIY! You will need: spoons, cardboard, scissors, spray paint (your chose of color), glue & glue gun and any size mirror you'd like!

Once you gather all your materials, you will then need to cut & trace your cardboard and snap your spoons (I had my strong handsome husband help me with that part, thank you my love!) Begin by gluing the spoons from the outside in, and when you finally get all the spoons glued on, its time to spray! Hold off on gluing the mirror until once the spray paint has dried.

After the paint has dried and the mirror has been glued, you will need to create a backing to hang it up (I forgot to take a picture of the back but all I did was create a loop with some twine and glued it).

Hope you ladies enjoyed this fun, simple and inexpensive DIY. Please feel free to email me or comment below your questions and share with me your finished pictures! Have a blessed weekend <3
