Praise to God for a Living Hope

Praise be to the God and Father of our Lord Jesus Christ! In his great mercy he has given us new birth into a living hope through the resurrection of Jesus Christ from the dead, and into an inheritance that can never perish, spoil or fade. This inheritance is kept in heaven for you, who through faith are shielded by God’s power until the coming of the salvation that is ready to be revealed in the last time. In all this you greatly rejoice, though now for a little while you may have had to suffer grief in all kinds of trials. These have come so that the proven genuineness of your faith—of greater worth than gold, which perishes even though refined by fire—may result in praise, glory and honor when Jesus Christ is revealed. Though you have not seen him, you love him; and even though you do not see him now, you believe in him and are filled with an inexpressible and glorious joy, for you are receiving the end result of your faith, the salvation of your souls. (1 Peter 1:3-9)

I hope you ladies are having a great week so far! Let's continue to seek Jesus!

THE BEAUTY OF SPRING

Happy Friday ladies, its time for strappy heels and flowy dresses! Spring has finally started to blossom and I could not be any more anxious and giddy! This time of the year holds many beautiful memories for me including meeting my husband & celebrating his birthday, remembering my bridal shower, and marrying my true love & best friend which now means we get to celebrate our wedding anniversary every spring! Most of all, I love this season for what it represents in my life as a believer in Jesus Christ. “But God demonstrated His love toward us, in that while we were still sinners, Christ died for us” (Romans 5:8). Jesus bore the punishment we deserved, and by His death we are completely forgiven, justified, healed, cleansed, and redeemed!

This weekend we celebrate His great victory, "...The angel said, 'Don’t be alarmed. You are looking for Jesus of Nazareth, who was crucified, He isn’t here! He is risen from the dead!" (Mark 16:6). Death could not hold Him, He is risen and HE IS ALIVE!

I pray you all continue to have a wonderful week with eyes focused on Christ and hearts ready to serve Him.
