M O V I N G B A B Y

 

Its hard to believe how fast these past four months have flown by! My husband and I are more excited than ever at the thought of having our very own little baby here at home with us in just six months! I am loving being pregnant, more so because my husband is super obsessed with my belly and he really couldn't get any sweeter. He has been so helpful, making sure I am always comfortable, the house is always tidy and my belly always full.

This is all so new to me and I definitely have my moments. Most moments are filled with so much joy and so many dreams, and then there are those few moments that remind me just much I desperately need Jesus. Last Friday, as I took my 99th trip to the restroom, I happened to look down at my tummy and noticed the smallest small stretch mark near my belly button. My eyes weld up so quick and I found myself trying to hold back tears since I had two hrs left at work. I immediately text my husband and he quickly responded with "I love ALL of you" and a few other sweet and encouraging thoughts. I wanted nothing more than to go home and have a good cry in his arms, but I had dinner plans with some girlfriends from church. So,  I got off work and had a great time with my friends. Just when I started to think about that little stretch mark again, I FELT MY BABY MOVE FOR THE VERY FIRST TIME! How amazing is my God? That He would love me so much and would remind me just how great that love is! I got home and shared this with Mr. M and we both had a good cry together.

This whole experience has me loving my Savior and my husband more than ever! I feel so loved and grateful for this amazing experience. This Saturday is our gender reveal!!! Carlos and I decided not to know the sex of our baby so that we can share that moment with our families. Stay tuned!!!

A P R E G N A N C Y A N N O U N C E M E N T

            


For this child I prayed, and the Lord has granted me my petition that I made to him (1 Samuel 1:27).

We're pregnant!!! Mr. M and I are over the moon excited for this new journey called parenthood. I am currently eleven weeks pregnant and due December 28th, 2016. 

Behold, children are a heritage from the Lord, the fruit of the womb a reward (Psalm 127:3).


The sheer thought that I currently have a baby growing inside of me and the great miracle that is life is completely amazing to me and feels so unreal! In my quiet moments alone, whether at home, work or even driving, I find myself rubbing my growing belly and crying tears of joy & thankfulness. God has been so good to us and our cup runneth over.

Our family and church family shares in our great joy! Stay tune for details on how I shared the pregnancy news with my husband, family and church family!

Hello lovelies! I am so happy to share a few of the amazing photos taken by our long time friend and brother Antonio Burrel. Its no secret that Mr. M and I love a good picture and since we recently celebrated two years of marriage, we taught what better way to celebrate than by taking photos! T W O Y E A R S M A R I E D - A M O R O C C A N G E T A W A Y I N P A L M S S P R I N G S , C A

                          

This past week, my husband and I celebrated TWO YEARS MARRIED! Hard to believe just how fast time is flying by! I still remember the moment we met in 2006, our first kiss in 2008, when he proposed in 2012 and our wedding in 2014 like it was yesterday!!! Life with Carlos is only getting sweeter <3 In Christ alone we have been able to maintain our friendship & love for so many years. We are looking forward to 100 more even better years!

Carlos and I had planned on going to Morocco for our anniversary, but God clearly had other plans for us. I will share soon. Also, my little sisters 8th grade promotion was in the same week and we wouldn't have missed it for the world. So we planned a three day stay-cation instead! I had my eye on the Korakia Pensione for over a year now and seemed to fit our current needs perfectly. It was close to home, Moroccan themed and in our budget. 

Mr. M and I did nothing but eat, sleep and lounge all day. It was the perfect place to unwind and enjoy each others company. I highly recommend you consider the Korakia for your next getaway.
